How Maritime Broker works

A marketplace where buyers get competing rates instead of one price, and suppliers compete for business instead of chasing enquiries. Everything below is enforced in software, not in policy documents.

1

Post what you need

Product, specification, quantity, packing, route, Incoterm and date. Or a freight lane: mode, equipment, weight, pickup and delivery.

Takes about two minutes. Free, with no limit.

2

We route it to the right sellers

Matching runs on category, origin, destination, certifications and verification level. Rice traders are never told about shrimp requests.

You can see who we invited and why, from your dashboard.

3

Suppliers compete downward

This is a reverse auction: the second supplier must beat the first, and the third must beat the second. The ladder updates live.

You choose whether bids are open or sealed.

4

Award to whoever wins

See every supplier's full profile, certifications and ratings — the information they would never see about you. Pick one and we introduce you both.

Identities are revealed only at this point.

That table is implemented as database views, not as an application-level toggle — the columns that would leak an identity simply do not exist in the query the public site runs. Emails, phone numbers and messaging handles are stripped automatically from every field a user can type into.

Buyers pay nothing

Posting is free with no cap. The platform earns when it is actively involved in brokering a deal — never by charging you to see your own offers.

Suppliers pay nothing

No listing fee and no charge for bidding. Verified suppliers get full visibility of every matching request in their category and region.

We are not the counterparty

We introduce, you trade. Always verify your counterparty, and use documented payment terms such as an irrevocable letter of credit.
